Brakeman Pro 1.2.1 introduced a new feature to track constant values across the application. This helped reduce false positives and improved accuracy of scans. Unfortunately, the feature caused significant slowdowns for some users.

This performance issue has been resolved.

Additionally, quick scans and the “–faster” option in the command line version will turn off global constant tracking entirely.
